Drukhari City

The Crows:

Elite gang with close ties too H.A.M.Y. Gang I.D. is black bodyglove and gold/yellow armor

Valkyrie: Defacto "Leader" of The Crows. The past 5 to claim leadership have died gruesome deaths. Valkyrie has so far refused to officially take charge but the rest do as she says, Name taken from Mon-Keigh legends she identifies with of winged females that harvested the greatest warriors as slaves/concubines. (38,000+ years is going to introduce corruption and translation errors.)

Magpie: thieving scavanger, ALL equipment was stolen, prefers to swoop in and kill-steal.

Raven: slightly clumsy, ditzy, but reliable and highly adept at hit and run attacks. (Personality adapted from secondary/tertiary character Raven from the webcomic Questionable Content, 3474 pages so far.) Blue bodyglove, pink hair

LaCroix: ex-harlequin player, grew vengeful after a Craftworld Psycher lost control releasing demons that slew his lover. (Based on Eric Draven from the 1994 movie The Crow, his body-type is simmilar and his helmet matches the eye makeup.)

Talon: Wrack on permanent loan from H.A.M.Y. to the Crows

Tengu: envious of the Acendants but well aware that as a clone he would never truly have the respect of true born Drukhari Tengu has become a fiercely protective co-leader of the Crows

Corvus: A rare creature among Drukhari, a man without ambition. Corvus has been repeatedly invited to join the Acendants on hunts but always refuses stating he is content to merely serve his gang.

JackDaw: a young clone eager to achieve glory in the colosseum. The constant derision he faces only seems to spur him to greater heights of achievement and gregariousness.

Craw: an almost suicidaly brave Hekatrix, she has chosen to have her flesh dyed metallic purple risking being mistaken as a debtor to the local hamonculi

Raptors: During the Mongh-Kiegh's so called "great crusade" a contingent of "Night Lords" were engaged and eventually captured by a gang in H.A.M.Y.'s employ. Upon their return these "Night Lords" escaped and caused the local gangs significant trouble. After their eventual extermination several gangs expressed regret at the loss of such stimulating opponents. In response H.A.M.Y. entombed the first of what would eventually become many un-augmented Mong-kiegh in the still functional suits and given "freedom" amongst the spires. Over time the process has been refined and the "hosts" now have the skills to operate their armor-tombs encoded in their minds which is slowly added to and overwritten by a gestalt consciousness housed in each suit. This repeated and unending forced life has resulted in the gestalts bonding emotionally, going quite insane, and becoming almost as cruel as their nominal captors. Almost.

Strike II’s: When H.A.M.Y. or Urias’ clients fall behind in paying their debt it’s rare they stalk the streets as free Drukhari ever again. If they aren’t killed they often wind up as slaves or near enough until the end of their days. The Strike IIs are the rare exceptions, Drukhari that fell behind on their debt, worked it off, and escaped the Haemonculi. Their skin is forever corrupted by the haemonculi’s mark the Strike IIs now refuse to submit to any haemonculi’s care except in the most dire of situations.

The Acendants: Haughty, pompous, rude, pretentious, flashy, these are how members of the Acendants are described by other gangs. In truth The Acendants are less a gang and more a loose collection of rich pricelings more concerned with showing off than the politics of the city’s numerous factions. Their only concern is ensuring the next archon will be them. While the other gangs often deride them for their vanity they are forced to admit if the current archon, Dru’thau the Shining, were to ever fall it would be one of the Acendants that would take the throne.

Dru’thau the Shining: the lovingly sarcastic ruler of this small corner of the webway. In his own words; “Unlike the coward Vect and his sycophants, I have no need to hide in the shadows.“

Shu the Pugilist: the least refined of the Acendants Shu still commands respect amongst any that would rather not find themselves beaten to a bloody pulp by an irate woman armed with Hydra Gauntlets. Which so far is most of the city.

Aru’tur the Coward: the common joke about Aru’tur is that he only survived long enough to join the Acendants because he was to afraid to remove his armor. However it’s interesting to note that he hasn’t refuted or taken offense to the joke, appears to be Dru’thau’s right hand, and even Shu increased how much armor she wore after a duel with him...

Sy’lak the Debtor: Once a member of the Strike IIs Sy’lak still uses the liquifier he was grafted with while bound to H.A.M.Y.

Gargoyle: Upon joining the Acendants this scourge took it upon himself to act as door guard. Due to his incredible patience and stillness combined with his normal perch he gained his new name.

The Archon’s Blade: She is the one Dru’thau dispatches when he wants someone dead now. A consummate rider none can evade or escape her within the city even if it requires leaving her beloved jetbike behind to pursue on foot.

Succubis and Incubis: a pair of lovers from an unknown wytch cult they are considered an unwise risk by many...

Zyd’aang the Corsair: the only survivor of a group of pirates known as the Black Tears Zyd’aang was for a long time a slave of Shu after his crew was captured by a raid staged by several local gangs

Bianci’s Basilisks Newcomers to the city, Bianci’s Basilisks are in fact a gang of Mongh Kiegh. They appear inclined to shoot first and talk never with most of the city’s inhabitants. Worse, they seem to be multiplying. Presumably they are named similar to certain wytch cults and “Bianci” is the “succubis” that leads them.

Other noted members include;

“Bodyguard” a Mongh Kiegh that wields a slug thrower to devastating effect and is almost always seen at the side of the “Succubis”.

“Blade Mistress” a Mongh Kiegh swordswoman that has defeated several promising wytches in duels.

“Thief” A Mongh Kiegh that has somehow acquired a modified heat lance.

“Psychopath“ a Mongh Kiegh that delights in hosing opponents down with whatever noxious chemicals, virulent toxins, or burning accelerants she can procure.

“Brute” a Mongh Kiegh gunner with a habit of sniping her target then repeatedly applying a Coup De Grace via the butt of her pistol.

“Fool” and “Coward” a pair of drukhari that have taken up with Bianci’s Basilisks.

“Bodyguard” it may be primitive but her weapon of choice is rugged and makes the attached blade a viable ax. “Blade Mistress” Unless you are a Hekatrix refuse her challenge. She’s gutted enough wytches. “Thief” I want to know 2 things, 1 who the hell thought modifying a heat lance like that was safe, and 2 how the hell did the Mongh Kiegh get it? “Psychopath” only a Mongh Kiegh would think of carrying a fragile tank of corrosive, toxic, or flammable fluids into battle. “Hammerstrike” when this Mongh Kiegh uses her prosthetic that hammer WILL damage something. “Sniper” do not attempt to engage, you will be shot. Again. “Brute” same as “Sniper” then clubbed to death. “Sociopath” Oh god, another one. “Psychopath” was bad enough, now she has a disciple! “Cutter” I can almost respect her. Almost. It would help if she’d bother to even attempt putting a victim back together. “Fool” and “Coward” a pair of drukhari that have taken up with Bianci’s Basilisks.

Noora Bianci, “Bodyguard”, “Blade Mistress”, “Thief”, “Psychopath”, “Brute”, “Fool”, “Coward”, Taelor/“Hammerstrike”, “Sniper”, “Sociopath”, “Meat1”, “Meat2”, Vic/“Meat3”, and “Cutter”

Enter the new player: Magos Biologis/Domina Eighty Three Whisky Eight Five

Various messages delivered within the city via courier:

MESSAGE BEGINS: Hello Magos/Gene-crafters/Chirurgeons, I felt/determined it was time to introduce/expose my self/plans. You have no doubt noticed/acknowledged my servants/minions/agents/slaves/creations infiltrating/invading/attacking your/my city. The specimens/bodies/salvage they have recovered/stolen have been most interesting/informative and I wish/desire/demand to learn. While clever/derivative, my last teacher, Magos Cawl/Old Fool, is too cautious/traditional/afraid. I suspect/deduced your order/kind and I are much alike, merely approaching/studying the same/identical problem/goals from opposite/different ends, how far/long can our patients/victims advance/last. I attempt this using the mechanical, you two the biological, Urias using fluids/chemicals and H.A.M.Y. with physical augmentation. I propose/suggest we pool/combine our talents/resources. Either way please accept this drone as a token/symbol of my gratitude/warning. MESSAGE ENDS.

“My dear H.A.M.Y., no doubt you have recently received a Mongh Kiegh wrack that played an... interesting message. I am curious as to your take on it.

Your eternal superior, Urias.”

”We shOulD cRUsH THEm. ON tHe OthER HanD ThOsE FOOLS of thE ThiRTEen SCaRS TuTORed FaBiouS BiLE, A MoST INteResTIng CREaTuRE.”

”Really using such a low quality wrack to carry your message to me? I’m hurt.”

“Terribly sorry, it appears one of the mutagens I used wasn’t as stable as I had thought. Please accept these three as an apology.”

”No. I’m not that stupid. Perhaps the Mongh Kiegh would like them...”

“And they’re off. This could get interesting.”

”Indeed. Especially as I sent some as well.”

MESSAGE BEGINS: That was rude/uncalled for. MESSA*BOOM*

Excerpt ends.

I like this new Magos! Now where’s the concept art, finished model, and Urias? Or was this all an excuse to kill Urias? No, Urias and H.A.M.Y. Both survived Eighty Three Whisky Eight Five‘s rebuttal. There were some singed hairs and skin-grafts needed but they’re all alive, for now...

Omega Team fluff: With the creation of the Primaris Marines the rules have changed. When the Alpha Legion joined with Horus it was not as servants of Chaos but as a mercy killing of the Imperium. But alas, we failed and many have lost their way to serve Chaos blindly. Not us. We subborned the creation of a small number Primaris to use Legion Geneseed. So far it appears they have not been corrupted by the Ruinous Powers. As a test a small team has been sent to infiltrate a Drukhari city. If they succeed the next test will be in The Eye. Perhaps one day we can help rebuild the empire that we betrayed...

Alt Omega Team fluff: Test group Omega was/is performing within parameters. Twentieth/Alpha Legion Geneseed appears/tests as stable/untainted. Traitor warband unaware/unconcerned with deception used to procure samples/material. Traitor Warband’s previously planted orders re. Omega test group for infiltration of Drukhari city has proven useful/interesting data. Preparing additional assets for further study. (See Bianci’s Basilisks, Sicarian team 437-92-03, Adept Calas)

Adept Calas I have concerns/reservations regarding/about Adept Calas. He is a competent/acceptable adept however he has an unhealthy/dangerous/heretical interest in diseases/contagions. I admit/acknowledge a certain disregard/ambivalence regarding tradition/the Omnissiah in myself/actions however Adept Calas’ deviance is close to serving Nurgle.

Haemonculi and minions H.A.M.Y. is about pushing the limits of what he can do. He makes monsters. The Shaved Yak / The Ambulance: his ride Dregs/The Horde: Debtors

LizzOrk: H.A.M.Y. makes a fair number of pit-fighting trash, big mean looking brutes most wyches can take apart without much trouble but they make good spectacle. Occasionally he builds one too well and it lasts long enough he reclaims it as his own, LizzOrk is one of them. Recognizing only H.A.M.Y. as "Master" LizzOrk killed and stole a handler's rifle after butchering a human champion of chaos.

Naga is just one of those disturbing things haemonculi make. Questions and accusations regarding certain anatomical details have been whispered behind H.A.M.Y.'s back but no one is willing to risk having Naga set on them to bring it up publicly.

Drago is an early work that just. won't. die. H.A.M.Y. hasn't ever bothered treating Drago's wounds but it just keeps on fighting.

Little Monstrosity/Legless Ed: a recent creation released to hunt Bianchi’s Basilisks they seem to have developed a twisted affection for it and have named it.

Hexaped Ed, Two Head Ed, Slow Walk Ed, Shorty Ed, Naughty Ed, Blood Whip Ed, Bone Whip Ed, Meat Cutter Ed, Saw Tooth Ed: the names the Basilisks have given H.A.M.Y.’s other wracks ordered to help contain them.

Urias is about pushing the limts of what the subject can do. They makes supers. WytchWracks: smoother, more graceful Wracks are the idea. Mostly created from drug cocktails. The Chosen: the “leader” of their WytchWracks. Stolen from H.A.M.Y.

The Tarakian B/Loc-nar: ally of Urias

Hamonculi are in competition but respectful. When debtor is captured they're handed over to whom they owe despite differences. Both use same marking method and could remove others but won't.

“The Butt Archon” A visiting lord from elsewhere in the webway that has decided to stay a while and enjoy the “festivities”.

“Gryn“ For ages he traveled with the Harlequins, never truly feeling at home. True, even amongst the Harlequins Margorach were outsiders but this was different. He had talked with others and they always felt they were still part of their troupe. Meanwhile it felt like the only reason his troupe hadn’t abandoned him was the need for someone to play the part of Death and tradition demanding his successor’s armor incorporate his bones. But then they found this small corner of the webway. Something clicked, he was Home. He left the troupe behind, along with his armor and a couple vertebrae. Tradition must be respected. Besides, it had been easy enough to have the vertebrae replaced by a local haemonculus and to build a new suit. Now when a troupe stopped in the city he would visit, watch the performances, be spat at by the performers, laugh them off, and ensure there was at least one lethal “accident”. After all, he may be alone and without a troupe, but he was still a Death Jester.

DMR article

Analyst Eli's reports Dead Moon Raiders Lead by a mysterious woman known only as "The Daemoness" they primarily operate on the svarg end of the sparsely populated fringes of the galaxy. The only other member of note is the bounty hunter "Kh4y0Z" the svarg-er that was lucky enough to retrieve a marooned Moff. Otherwise yet another completely forgettable bounty hunter. Known assets 2 Decrepit old Zeds modified to carry contraband. 1 Y-Wing in surprisingly good condition considering age and abuse. Torpedo tubes removed for increased bomb capacity. Auto blaster turret locked in forward position. 1 Thrice stolen, mothballed T-65 X-Wing. Upper port cannon prone to overheating / misfiring, port torpedo tube inoperable, targeting computer removed. 1 Excecively gaudy HWK-290 dubbed "Plague Hawk" Kh4y0Z's personal flying wreck "improved" using the payoff from the Moff. Still armed with outmoded blaster turret. 2 Astromech droids with confirmed Droid Rot. Constantly overcharge any engines they are given access to. 1 Dammaged WED-15 repair droid stolen from a GR-75 slated for demolition. Chassi welded shut, memory banks corrupted, data port burnt out. 1 K4 security droid lacking weapon systems.

Threat Analysis: Only to themselves and whatever their flaming wrecks smash into.

BEGIN TRANSMISSION Republic Intel Analyst Eli's report: We have hired a Trandoshan to infiltrate the DMR, I think. Codename Agent Hiss has thus far refused to communicate with anything other than simple gestures and angry hissing. However a reliable contact has assured me that Agent Hiss is extremely reliable and that we had a contract.

Based on recently received intel we believe they are based on a backwards ball of dirt registered as Draconis 42-3 (Third world of the Draconis 42 system. Apparently 56 systems have been dubbed Draconis.) Local inhabitants use archaic slug thrower weaponry and have no native space program. Friendly towards the Republic. They have promised to look into pirate/cartel/syndicate/etc. activity in desert and dense jungle regions usually ignored due to inhospitable nature. They request aid with cold weather equipment for poles and extreme mountain terrain. Maybe we can send them some of our large cache of retired snow trooper equipment currently in mothball? Locals are extremely close to humans so little to no modification should be required.

Even if nothing comes of Agent Hiss' attempt we are apparently only out his tab at a local bar. Draconis 42-3 native forces volunteered on contact and it's not like we really have any use for that old Imperial equipment. Cheap enough to give it a try I think.

Admendum: Agent Hiss' tab was rather more than I thought possible. I am currently negotiating with the owner of the bar.

BEGIN TRANSMISSION Republic Intel Analyst Eli's report: Local security forces on Draconis 42-3 have begun organized search of the desert areas with the aid of Agent Hiss and "Offworld Contractors", surveillance drone image attached.

This image shows the "Offworld Contractors", Agent Hiss and an experimental transport in action against a suspected DMR encampment. Upon inspection it appears that the DMR are the "Offworld Contractors" and Agent Hiss has successfully infiltrated the group. Unfortunately I have received no communications from Agent Hiss, and the locals have hired the very gang we seek. My contact from Draconis 42-3 did however identify their leader in the image but referred to her as "Lady D'Muse". Annotated image with enlargements attached.

__KH4Y0Z: Gender: Male? Age: Unknown, no estimate. Species: Unknown. Wanted For: None, registered Bounty Hunter, suspected smuggler. Other notes: Either impossibly lucky or has access to unknown resources otherwise a low budget bounty hunter. Only bounty of note was lucky capture of marooned moff for massive pay-out. Has survived apparently lethal wounds, possible new technology or biological capability.

__MEG TANNER: Gender: Female Age: 24 Species: Human Wanted For: Aiding and abetting, piracy, escaping custody Other notes: Raised in a scrapyard Tanner had free reign to tinker with whatever she could find to build whatever she could. Tanner lacks a formal education but a lifetime of tinkering with wrecked starships has resulted in her developing an innate ability to fix nearly any light freighter or smaller she is presented with. This skill was capitalized on by a group of pirates who hired her as a mechanic. Assisting them eventually resulted in her arrest and incarceration alongside Kleck. Rarely seen without her oversized wrench that she uses primarily as a weapon to great effect.

__JAKIN: Gender: Male Age: 27 Species: Human Wanted For: Piracy, Unregistered Bounty Hunting Other notes: Moderately successful Y-Wing Pilot. Hot wired and stole his current vessel from a rival group of outlaws. Ion cannon currently inoperative however he has over-clocked the main guns to partially offset the loss of firepower. Known to regularly employ ion bombs and connor nets due to disabling nature for improved salvage. Occasionally assists bounty hunters in need of additional firepower. While accurate his preferred blaster lacks the stopping power necessary to reliably disable targets. Known to regularly wear an orange flight suit that provides negligible protection against blasters and often sticks out visually.

__ZIDID: Gender: Male Age: 32 Species: Duros Wanted For: weapons trafficking, weapons manufacturing Other notes: competent slicer and pilot, master weapons technician

__NUZUR: Gender: Male Age: 32 Species: Duros Wanted For: weapons trafficking, street racing Other notes: Daredevil pilot and amateur explosives specialist and slicer

Zidid & Nuzur Notes: A pair of Duros brothers who often successfully pretend to be lost travelers in order to escape law enforcement. They began their life of crime in semi-legal hover-car rallies where they often used homemade explosives to remove competition. Eventually a local cartel hired them to move a shipment of stolen weapons. After making the delivery they joined up with Kh4y0z concurrent to his purchase of the "Plague Hawk". They now pilot the "Plague Hawk" as they are more skilled than Kh4y0z. During ground ops Zidid often accompanies Kh4y0z as a demolitions and slicing expert

__TREEM: Gender: Male Age: Middle aged, exact unknown Species: Rodian Wanted For: Piracy, Vengeance Raids Other notes: Once a member of the Rebel Alliance upon peace Treem broke away and began attacking Imperial remnants along with others who refused to acknowledge the surrender. Eventually he turned to piracy to maintain his actions.

__KNARSSA: Gender: Male Age: 45 Species: Rodian Wanted For: None, registered Bounty Hunter Other notes: Old squad mate of Treem, after Imperial surrender Knarssa turned to bounty hunting. Known to offer reduced rates when hunting former Imperial leaders and loyalists. Several injuries have slowed his draw time but he is still a capable pilot.

__KLECK: Gender: Male Age: 19 Species: Rodian Wanted For: Murder, escaping custody Other notes: Escapee from Republic detention center. Originally arrested for murder of the Mandalorian Fau'Th'Los. Shows a callous disregard for the life of others, often using explosives without regard for collateral damage.

__AGENT "HISS": Gender: Male Age: Middle aged, exact unknown Species: Trandoshan Wanted For: None Other notes: Doesn't speak, just hisses. Good character reference. Prodigious drinker (100,000 credit tab)
